Hot Spring
A hot spring representative of western Japan, the Yubara Hot Spring Village has an abundant volume of water.
The “Yubara,” “Shimo-Yubara,” “Taru,” “Maga,” and “Gouroku” hot springs are collectively called the “Yubara Hot Spring Village.”
In the Yubara Hot Springs, there is an open-air-spa, “Sunayu,” where a spring gushes out from the bottom of the river, heating an enclosed area. This hot spring can be used at anytime, 24 hours a day, free of charge. On the backside of the hot spring is the grand Yubara Dam.
The Shimo-Yubara Hot Spring consists of open-air-spas for men and women respectively and a pets’ spa (for dogs and cats) rarely seen in Japan.
Both the Taru and Maga Hot Springs are long-stay type therapeutic and historical hot springs that guests, who expect to visit for a lengthy period of time, use for their stay.
The Gouroku Hot Spring was opened at the beginning of the Edo Period. There is only one Japanese-style lodge in this location between mountains, and you will enjoy the calmness and peacefulness of the area.
